Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus,

May the blessing of the Lord be with you, may His grace and love keep you.

School's begun!  Our Fall Semester officially began 8/31 with eight full-time students and nine part-time students.  We have seven students (two of which are new) living on campus in the dorms.  Our day classes run between 9 and 11 students and our night time class has 15 students. Although the start of the semester brings adjustments and a little extra work, it is exciting to see God working in the students lives.   We look forward to watching God work in their hearts over the semester. Seeing Him work in the lives revealing, calling and confirming His plan for each of them.

Thank you for praying for us and the students of Micronesia Bible College (MBC). Would you specifically pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We know of no better way to know God then to be filled over and over again with the Spirit and to dwell in His presence.

After having received permission again from the college, the Chi Alpha ministry will start this coming Friday, 9/10 on the National Campus of the College of Micronesia (COM).  It is a joy to work with the students who represent so many of the islands of Micronesia. Please pray that God's presence will richly bless this ministry time, that students will receive Christ as their Savior, that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and that the Fire of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be poured out upon Micronesia.

Thank you! Mary-Ann and I deeply appreciate your faithful prayer for us, our family, the students, and the needs of MBC. Thank you also for your faithful giving and support. You make it possible for us to be here and have a part in each life touched.  We remind you that your labors and giving are not in vain. Only when Jesus returns, will we know how great the harvest is and the full extent of fruit resulting from your faithfulness. May God richly bless you now and everyday forward according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

Other prayer needs:

  • FSM Church Leadership - a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit and wisdom.
  • Church on Kosrae - God is beginning to move.  May they hear and understand His will.
  • Opportunties for MBC to minister.
  • MBC -  health, wisdom, and strength to students and staff.

Our love and prayers,

Bill & Mary-Ann Schubert

Matthew 22:34-40 "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?' Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"
