Subject: Faith, Trust & God's Timing

I can't believe we are now in our 15th month of itineration. We have visited about 150 churches and had many other meetings with pastors and boards. Praise the Lord that our schedule has been full!

We are at about 75% of our monthly commitments and 20% in our cash budget campaign. Our original date to leave was September. As you can tell, we still have more fundraising to do.

We have been extended through November to complete our itineration. We will be moving out of our current rental into a missionary home on the shore in South Jersey. We have been blessed to have stayed in our current home with borrowed furniture for all this time. It is a great story and want to say thank you first to the Lord, and then Rich, Ann and Crystal for blessing us with everything.

A good friend and pastor said to me recently that he would like to make it easier for missionaries to itinerate. My response to him was that the wrestling and struggle is preparation for the mission field. Without the struggle, how would we grow in faith and trust God for greater works.

We have grown together as a family and Leah and I as a couple. Our kids and us know more about faith, trust and God's timing. It is a deep work that we are thankful for. We are more prepared to minister in Japan!

We appreciate your prayers as we schedule more services and Lord willling, return to Japan in December. Thank you for your giving, I can't say how much we need each of you.

Matthew 22:34-40 "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?' Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"
