Tuesday Events: Employment Support Group

Employment Support Group: Every Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Join us for our weekly Employment Support Group meetings! Stop by Calvary on Tuesday mornings for advice, employment resources, networking and encouragement for your job search. Refreshments for the body and soul are served weekly! Tuesday, August 9th: No Employment Support Group This Week.

Employment Support Group Mission Statement: Our mission is to work together to renew your hope and build the faith that is needed to continue your job search in order to meet your physical, emotional, practical and spiritual needs.

Facilitate the exchange of ideas and suggestions for employment between participants in the support group.
Provide a supportive environment to share information.
Provide the technical and practical knowledge to assist in job search.
Examples include: practice interview techniques, résumé reviews, networking, preparing for a job interview, world of work, barriers, job leads, employer expectations, job hunting tips, listening skills and many other employment topics.

7/21/11: Hi Len. That is so true... the interviews where I didn't have questions for the interviewer, they were not interested in me. The interviews where I ask preplanned thought out questions, they pursued me with 2nd interview... And now a job offer! I've accepted the position with Chase in Wilmington. I will receive the official letter (email) this afternoon along with the welcome letter and new hire packet. At this point I just have to get finger printed and get a drug test. The goal is for Friday, July 29th to be my first day. ... and benefits will start on Monday, August 1st (God is SO GOOD!!!) ESG has been encouraging to attend and to meet several new people. I will miss the Tuesday morning meetings. Let me know if there is any way that I can help with someone's job search! Thanks, Dwayne.

Wednesday Events: Wednesday Evening Bible Study

Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 PM: Join Pastor Nick Piscitelli and Calvary church members for Wednesday evening Bible studies on "Great Truths of the Bible." Wednesday Evening Bible Studies provide a time for detailed, doctrine related Christian studies and discussions. All are welcome! Upcoming study topics:

Sunday Events: Sunday School, Sunday Services, Youth Group, Men's and Women's Ministries

Sunday School Classes: Every Sunday at 9:15 AM.
Every Sunday morning beginning at 9:15, we provide Sunday School classes for all age groups. Our toddlers and youngsters hear Bible stories and do arts & crafts, teens meet to discuss the issues of the day and how being a Christian affects their lives, adults in Becky Breitenstein’s class are studying “Faith Under Fire,” a DVD series by Lee Strobel and Gary Poole. In Pastor Nick Piscitelli's class, adults are learning about the "Walking with God from Slavery to Freedom" - a view of the promised land from the Book of Joshua to the Experience of the Promised Life of the New Covenant in Jesus Christ.

Sunday Church Services: 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Chain-Reaction Youth Group: 6:00 PM. We invite all youth in grades 6-12 to join us as we journey into the word learning how we, as young people, can change the world for Christ. This is an exciting time to gather together with friends and get to know new people. We have game nights (volleyball and bowling), outings (golf), all-nighters and tons more. Bring your family and friends for fun on Sunday nights!

Men's and Women's Ministries meet on the first Sunday evening of the month at 6:00 PM. All are welcome to join Pastor Nick Piscitelli, Sunday School Teacher Becky Breitenstein, and other Calvary church members for Bible studies, discussions, events and fellowship.
